The first two weeks of June came and went without a drop of rain. After living through six years of drought a rainless stretch like that can set a farmer to worrying.
But that mini drought has been followed by enough rain to flood our lane: 4 3/4 inches in the last ten days with more on the way. I guess this is to be a year of extremes.
