Our new calves are growing quickly. In fact three of them are ready to be weaned. They'll be two months old already this week and ready to eat pasture exclusively. They'll join the three month old calf that arrived on the farm back in March. It'll be nice to have an older calf in with them to show them the ropes.
In the meantime they are still enjoying getting a drink of the neighbor's milk every morning and evening. I think the milk is making a difference in their overall health and giving them nice shiny coats. They really seem to be thriving.
Our cat, Sid, thinks his coat should be nice and shiny too.
