We awoke this morning to a blanket of snow. A surprising sight in May especially after our long and early spring. It is not unheard of to have snow in May--more surprising that none fell in March this year.

The animals didn't seem to mind.
They went about their day as if snow is perfectly common any time it arrives.
And, I suppose, in the Northwoods, it is.
