Wool: Eco-insulation

Just one ewe gives us 8 pounds of wool, on average.

While I enjoy knitting, I don't do nearly enough of it.
Nor do I spin, or card, or weave.
But wool has lots of uses.
We could just sell it to the wool co-op. But prices are typically low.
Most years it doesn't even cover the cost of shearing: $3.50 each plus gas.
Far better to put it to use here on the farm
as insulation in our portable pasture shelter
continuing to keep our animals warm in winter and cool in summer.
