Moving Day

Pigs are generous creatures.
After diligently turning the soil on the south side of the dairy barn they agreed to take on another job.

They happily walked up the alley we set up for them with some temporary fencing

and moved into their new quarters recently vacated when our young steers moved to a new pasture.

We sweetened the deal by digging holes into the bedding the steers left behind and filling them with cracked organic corn--perfect treat for an eager pig.

In just a day's time they had already set to work transforming their new home.
