Common Ground

The sheep were a bit nervous when we first reintroduced them to the cattle. Tried to keep to themselves. Cattle are so big and curious--lumbering beasts. Always coming up to sniff with an outstretched nose. And those horns!

Lately I've noticed they seem to have things sorted out again. They don't seem to mind getting right in the middle of the frey. Especially if it means a bite of fresh grass. You hear of wars fought out West over ground being meant for sheep or cattle. These animals seem to know nothing of that.
